Privacy Policy

Basa AI connects clients and service providers. We process account identifiers and contact details, profiles, jobs, bids, bookings, messages, precise or approximate location when you choose to share it, notification tokens, service transaction records, interactions, and uploaded photos, videos, and text.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, operate and personalize the marketplace, match nearby work, facilitate bookings and messages, provide live arrival tracking during an active booking, prevent fraud, respond to reports, provide support, and maintain reliability. Basa does not use this information to track you across other companies’ apps or websites and does not sell personal information.
Location
Location access is optional until you use a location-dependent feature. Precise background location is used only while a professional actively shares an accepted booking journey. The user can stop sharing in the app or disable access in iOS Settings.
Storage, AI, processors, and sharing
Data is hosted with Supabase and protected by account-level access controls. When you explicitly request an AI-generated proposal, the relevant job description, client name, and your selected profile skills are sent to OpenAI to generate that proposal. We share information with marketplace participants only where necessary for the service you request, with processors such as Supabase, OpenAI, and Apple that help operate Basa, or when legally required. Basa requires processors to protect personal information consistently with this policy and applicable law. We retain records only for as long as needed for the service, safety, disputes, and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, control location and notifications, block accounts, report content, or permanently delete your account from Profile → Settings and activity → Password and security. Deletion removes the account and associated content subject to limited legal, fraud-prevention, and dispute-retention obligations.
